Castle Party - Transportation Logistics

This will be my first visit to Castle Party. Bolków seems like a very small town. I assume there will not be trains running after midnight when the festival ends. For those staying in hotels in nearby towns, are there taxis available during the festival?

the railway line to Bolków is no longer in use for passenger trains, there are only buses but quite a lot of them. Do not expect night buses though. Use this search engine http://en.e-podroznik.pl/ to find your bus to/from Bolków. If you are staying in a hotel or an apartment near Bolków ask the owners to get a couple of local taxi numbers for you and arrange with the driver(s) to be ready for your call at night. The concerts at the castle end between 1 and 1:30 AM.

Thanks for the input. It sounds like staying in the next town might be a greater hassle than it's worth. Will I be able to secure a place to camp if I simply show up in Bolków, or is it necessary to make a reservation in advance?

There is a camp site in Bolków and it is intensively used during the festival. You can read some information on the camp site here http://castleparty.com/accommodation,noclegi.html I have no experience with camping in Bolków but lots of people do so maybe someone will tell you more. What I do for accommodation is to rent a room/flat locally in Bolków. There are announcements circulating over this forum from time to time like this fresh one http://castleparty.com/wynajme_pokoje,idc,3,id,1378,action,newest,forum.html You can collect some numbers this way and check which suits you best. For me it is the most convenient way to have a place to stay close to the Castle.
